On October 21st the annual Retro Game and Computerday hosted by the HCC Commodore User Club took place. Mind you it's not a Commodore centric event, a whole range of platforms and consoles was on display. There's some excellent photo's and videofootage available of the event. Both MrCustard and I planned on going but I was prohibited from going due to a 24 hour shift that was thrown my way :(

The HCC Commodore users club posted the following on their site:
Great atmosphere at "Retro Game and Computerday".

For the second time (after June 2004) Maarssen was a hot centre of all Retro Gaming and Computer loving Holland at October 21st. Before several sites, newspapers like AD/UN, the Vechtstroom and De Vecht, Amstel en Rijnstreek had a publication of our Retro show. Nice was that a local radiostation, RTV Utrecht in this case, paid attention to this spectacle at the morning before our show. Also many participating clubs, groups, individuals and musea made a advertisement. The result was a great amount of visitors and beautifull was that people were actually able to play on lots of those (game)computers, ultimate fun!

All kind of fantastic things could be seen like the very first Pong, the Xtreme C= logo, the 3D Virtual Boy, very special MSX expansions, rare Atari computers, a Commodore 65, a golden Commodore 64 and lots more. Look at our picture pages. Special was this time that two Camera teams filmed our Retro Show. The local TV had a broadcast at monday evening (october 23st). You can find this broadcast (with English translation) on Video Google. Volkskrant TV was almost whole day present. This video can you watch at the website from Volkskrant TV

An English subtitled tv item on this show in Maarssen in Google video format.

A video-clip from a good and well known Dutch newspaper "De Volkskrant"
"Retrogaming is Hot" is what they say, in this clip you'll see quite a few of the more well known Dutch retrogaming fans AND some youngsters still enjoying the old computers and videogames. Savour the Dutch language, see what you can understand. Observe and see that retrogaming fans are virtually identical accorss the Globe! If people want some sort of translation please let me know I'll see what I can do.

As a bonus a Dutch interview with the European champion Pacman, of course it's in Dutch so perhaps a little hard to comprehend for non-Dutch speakers. Bill, Christina might be able to help you understand some of it since German and Dutch are very close.
