Probably the reason for the

Probably the reason for the heat, Fox already makes some of its shows available for free download via MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/fox

Already down for good

Well, the dude already took it down at the request of Fox. I can't blame Fox, frankly.

Open Letter To Matt Groening on the Legality Issue ;)

The legality means nothing to me.

I own up through season six and will buy all the rest. The Simpsons is the gold standard for TV show DVDs with commentaries on every episode, animatics, and other behind the scenes stuff. Thank you Matt Groening, and everyone else who works so damn hard just to make people laugh.

Oh yeah, and the Futurama sets were great too. Congratulations on getting the show resurrected on Comedy Central!

No kidding! I took/am

No kidding! I'm as stunned as anyone, particularly since these links are now widely known. I took/am taking advantage of it to watch episodes my DVR failed to record last week! (Comcast is the worst!)

Legality?

I'm still trying to figure out how the heck this site is getting away with this. Apparently, they don't host these files themselves, but only link to them...

My guess is that folks interested in this stuff had better get their fill now, because I'm certain the copyright police will put the clampdown on this site very soon. Shame, really.
