I have begun photographing my console/games collection for insurance purposes. I started with my modest fledgling Atari collection. Click here for photos - Bill, you might be interested to see my PAL 7800 with controllers......
If you download the images they will be bigger (I've sized them to 600 horizontal on the web page).

You are too kind Mark - and I'm too aware as to how crap the site looks (and that there are broken links there too!).
I'm concentrating on content at present....
Anyhow - I've moved onto my SNES collection - still have to photograph my unboxed carts, special boxes (Super Metroid and SFII Turbo are big boxes!) and the Super Gameboy.

Why are they different?
I wonder why the manufacturers make one version for the US and another for Europe. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to keep everything the same? I guess there's a possibility that one or the other gets an updated version...?
Nice site Davy!
Davy, nice site you've got going there!
There can be a huge difference in quite a few of the old Eurpean and US consoles. I for instance was quite amazed by the US purple colored snes system when I first saw one. I thought that everybody was using Jap/Eur type designed snes consoles. It's a whole array of different colors, designes even console names in various areas.

I've never even seen those...Wow. I guess there really is a huge difference between European and US game gear!

I actually have some of the European style 7800 gamepads, but I've never seen the top of a European style 7800. The detailing is almost a bit childish in comparison to its US counterparts. Interesting how there's that distinction! Keep the photos coming!
