360 Connection to a PC

Do any of you with a 360 have any idea what could be the issue with trying to get my 360 to see my PC's or vice versa? I have two PC's that I downloaded Media Center onto and I can't connect to either of them. "Live" works great so I know I'm on the network. I even tried it with all router firewalls "Off" and that didn't help. I remember a thread back at the old site, I believe when Bill first got his 360, but can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Seeing you on 360

I keep seeing that you guys have been online 10, 15, 20 hours ago. I've been on pretty regular from 2100 to 2300 EST everyday. This past weekend we had a marathon Call of Duty 2 session until 0300 Sat AM!!!

Downloaded Gauntlet a couple days ago. Brings back memories as I think I played it on my Amiga...and of course the arcades.

Just about every night someone from the UK is online playing COD2.

I'm game if you guys are....

Oh, I've been having a hard time getting my PC's to recognize the 360...still working on it. Downloaded the media app from the Xbox site but still "no go". I may have to tweak the router settings.

Cheers

sometime during the weekend / friday

For a European / American get together on live things don't have to be that complicated

Great Britain is 6 hours ahead of New York / New Jersy timezones
Netherlands / Belgium / France / Spain / Portugal / Germany / Danmark / Sweden / Norway are 7 hours ahead of New York / New Jersy timezones.

Europe ------------------------------- US
Crack of dawn ----------------------------- Midnight
Morning ------------------------------------ Night / past midnight
Noon --------------------------------------- Crack of dawn
Afternoon ---------------------------------- Morning
Supper/Diner-time ------------------------ Noon
Evening ------------------------------------ Afternoon
Midnight ----------------------------------- Supper/Diner-time
Night / past midnight --------------------- Evening

It isn't that bad you know ;)

I'd love to get a group of

I'd love to get a group of us together at least once to play some games. I have a feeling though that would be akin to coordinating the moon landing, considering the different time zones and schedules...

The live service high score option really makes a difference...

The Live highscore / accomplishment options really make a difference to me. Playing Galaga on Mame or on X360 is quite different. Now my crappy gaming skills can be observed in their full glory ;)

We should try to get together and do a 4person Gauntlet or other multiplayer game sometime!

Yep, me too...

Some of the folks are posting incredible scores on the Arcade games I've downloaded!!! Of course some of my friends are on 24/7 so after awhile of that I guess you should be good!! I'm going to get trying with GW's though. I love both the Retro and new version of it.

Gauntlet is a Must...

I'm going to download Gauntlet once the initial "wow" factor of Madden 07 and Call Of Duty2 wears off. The only ones I've paid for on Arcade are Geometry Wars and Marble Madness (great game!!!)

I see most of you guys are on when I'm off, of course some of you are in different time zones...

I think the only achievment

I think the only achievment I was able to get was the Pacifist one in Geometry Wars so far. It took many, many tries to survive 60 seconds without firing a weapon, but I eventually got it. It felt good, but it's one very, very tough game. And yes, I am impressed by many of the guy's on my friend's list, especially Custard. I've become aware over the years that I'm only good at certain types of games and actually lean on the pathetic side for many others...

Geometry wars

Geometry Wars is game that has to click. At first I felt I would never get past the 50000 mark, but then I suddenly got the feel for it, and went past 100000 and then 250000 pretty rapidly. As you need to start every game at level one, if you become a bit better, the early level are something you have to endure though.

Another thing.. are you planning to purchace Gauntlet? Would be a nice game to play with a few fellow AA regulars
