I will be contacting various podcasts, sites, and publications to get review copies of my two upcoming books, CoCo: The Colorful History of Tandy’s Underdog Computer (written with Boisy Pitre); and Vintage Game Consoles: An Inside Look at Apple, Atari, Commodore, Nintendo, and the Greatest Gaming Platforms of All Time (sequel to Vintage Games and written with Matt Barton); but if you qualify, please get in touch with me directly to save some time.

Also, if you know of any such qualified entities or individuals, please pass along my information. Thanks for the help!

Both really...

The CoCo has always been an intriguing machine for me. At school the Tandy TRS80 was the first computer I programmed on and your book will capture my interest. Both books will actually.

Check your email Bill! :)

Thanks, Mark. Let me know which of the books (or both) and I'll add you to the list. Send me an email with all the details to give to publisher vis-a-vis your address.

Reading a nice book and writing about it is something I can too

I can definitely read them and provide a review. A quick question as well. I am a member on another site called Amibay. They allow for posting of reviews on the forums there. Would it be possible, or approved to post a written review there, or here for that matter? Just curious. The more the word can be spread the better, correct?

Absolutely, yeah, posting anywhere is most welcome. Shoot me the email when you're ready.

Sort of soon...

Congratulations on getting the books finished! I am waiting patiently for the CoCo book to come out so I can purchase it and find out more about the history of the Color Computer. Vintage Game Consoles sounds interesting as well. My friends and I do a podcast, but it's not a tech or vintage tech podcast. We are opening up to more topics including retro games, but those will mostly be relegated to RPG's rather than looking at all things retro. If I remember correctly you said CoCo will come out in January of 2014, or somewhere close to that, correct? When is the Vintage Game Consoles book coming out? You might want to try and contact the gentleman who does Classic Game Room, as the vintage game consoles book sounds like it's right up his alley. Good luck!

Thanks. Technically, only the CoCo book is in final edits, but we're getting close with the Vintage Game Consoles book. The former is supposed to come out November of this year, while the latter by March of 2014. If you want to cover either or both books, send me an email with your name, email, mailing address, and podcast name, and I'll get it over to the publisher.
