More games, more Skyrim.. and

More games, more Skyrim.. and new greenlight game Prison Architect, same guys who made DARWINIA. Have heard quite a few comments on it, and with some quick glances kinda felt I didn't need another SIM building game. it looked like so many others 'sim park" Roller Coster Tycoon" etc.. I finally broke down and picked it up Sat night. Got up Sunday and did an all dayer (quit last night at 2AM) Have not done that on a nice summer day in years. Before that sounds all glowing, its not. Its a great game IMHO, i am enjoying it, but its got BUGS! and the devs have made that clear. Its not yet ready for long term play ( huge prisons) many of the "upgrades" serve no function right now. But what is there is easily several days of "how do it get it efficient" unless you just read up and dont figure it out yourself. I made this mistake with Cesaer (city building game), was having problems building past a point, saw ONLINE the prefect city block.. its hard not to replicate after you see it work.. game was trivial after.. so I tend to not read anything on games past reviews. There is something almost funny when you see a inmate camp a Service door ( staff only) and sneak out and run for hte edge of the screen (escape!) when the prison is in early stages of building and you cant afford fences on everything.

If you like god games /sim building i would recommend this. There are 100's but this one has some charm, but take a look, the graphics are all their own, but many would consider them simple, me I like them. Nothing new, manage your resources and grow is your goal, but Im finding it harder then heck.. all day Sunday.. as in at least 4or 6 restarts when i hit a wall of no money and rampaging criminals.

CONS: costs way to much to beta play it, have to be a fan of the company or the game style. Me.. just some comments from reviews i like swayed me, even if I felt the price was too high. Not a full game.. about 1/2 as far as I can see, but what they have is pretty good so far.

FTL - I wish they would make

FTL - I wish they would make it open ended.. it is quite a good game, my only grip is the Rogue "like" part of it.. a couple bad rolls of the dice can destroy you after some good luck.. You will have to tell me your thoughts on the end of Bio.. I been playing a simple but fun game called Infested Planet, if you are OLD and can remember a PD game called GRIME from the old XT days (ya.. early 80's) its almost an updated version of that.. Simple but complex, fast but easy enough to deal with..

and SKYRIM (again).. the DLC was all 50% off so i picked it all up.. started a new character and am in the low 40's now.. the DragonBorn stuff is quite good.. Cuthula like realm to fight in , some intense close up battles.. (dont play to my mage character very well) Black Books!!! :) a new island about 1/10th the size of skyrim ( maybe 1/20 hard to tell) a cler cut enemy (another Dragon Born).. etc.. damn i got like 20 new games and Im playing that old one.

I highly recommend faster

I highly recommend faster than light. Fun! Kinda like space sim meets rogue. I played it all day yesterday.

Also picked up Bioshock infinite. Really like the world they created.

Victim of "thats an awesome

Victim of "thats an awesome price" on games I may never play. And the Big games (bio/farcry) are still almost $30. Im a sucker for Greenlight games and most of those are $10-15 even on sale.. (for half done stuff) Kickstarter on steam i guess, but I get to play while I wait.

Tombraider and Bio are both great In My opinion.. The New tombraider is quite good, if it had any problem.. its actually the Tomb part of it, it feels tacked on. Easily one of the best games i have played this year. Bio is Bio, interesting story, twists, wierd weapons, good level design, lots of hidden stuff..But way to short compared to 1 and 2 (if you call this 3).

Wow, that's a lot of money,

Wow, that's a lot of money, Clok, though I'm not one to talk with my continued investment in physical videogame and computer items...

I've been trying to hold off purchasing more digital goods. I've somehow managed to build a lifetime worth of digital games that I'll likely never to be able to get to to join the lifetime of physical stuff I'll likely never be able to get to.

I did a free copy of Bioshock Infinity and Tomb Raider (after buying the PS3 version, no less) with one of my video card purchases that I have yet to try. I really want to at some point, though.

Bioshock Infinti: great game (like everybody said) Unreal how short.. i have less then 10 hours and beat it. the ending.. mixed feelings , its excellent and horrible at the same time..

Farcry3- after winning Bio haven't rushed into this one, hear its great too.

im $232 down.. and we have 5 days to go? I thought last year was bad..
