It's revolutionary.

Give it time; it's going to be big.

I think it will do reasonably well, but nothing extraordinary.

Compared to other releases

Compared to other releases it isn't doing that bad but the whole industry seems to be dead set against it not willing to support it. I think it is the only console that truly sticks to being a console whereas then Xbox and play stations follow ups will be PCs more or less with all sorts of restrictions in place like having to be online all the time in order to play your games. And don't forget Sony's patent on technology preventing second hand games to be used. I think the user freedom is best guaranteed on the Nintendo platform whereas it is not or doesn't seem to be on the others.

It is always dumb to release a console without a sensible gaming library and they do need to improve on that or get the virtual console games going.

I like the Nintendo brand, but I am not a fanboy. I loved the 1st and second generation Xbox. Not keen on what I hear on the new xbox. Was amazed by the 1st and 2nd playstation. Severely underwhelmed by the retarded update schemes in place for games on Playstation 3. The big Sony security leak. Ouch. Not keen on the new ps4 either. But time will tell.

I would like to see the WiiU succeed though. It is not bad to have three big rivals competing, or perhaps even a fourth with the Android gaming (which in its own right could be good but it could also be an over saturation of the market with piss poor games resulting in another crash)....

Odd Console

I came out too early and is too under-powered. It has Saturn disease.
