I hope it's as good as promised as well. I don't have any plans at this time to purchase one, but please if you have the time could you write a review of it? It might help me sway the misses into allowing me to purchase a media streaming appliance, rather than using the massive PS3 for Netflix and such.

I'll see what I can do.

I just put my pre-order in for a Vizio Co-Star Stream Player. It looks like it will ship out on August 14. Fingers crossed it's as good as promised.

I looked through the overview and features and I cannot see where it says that OnLive is supported. Was that mentioned in the announcement for the product? I'm only curious as it appears to be a very interesting little TV internet appliance.

-Edit- There it is; there is a picture of it's app symbol and if you hover over it they show you the program.

Yeah, I still want to know all the details of how it will work, particularly in regards to controller support. I already have two OnLive consoles so I don't technically need this, but I don't have hooked up to my main TV for space considerations, so it would be nice - since this has a pass-through - along with all the Google TV features, to work this into the mix instead.

Anyway, that's always been the promise of OnLive, that it will work on any reasonably capable platform, so it's about time we're seeing it in other set top boxes and some TV's now.
