Well again, dont want to ruin

Well again, dont want to ruin it so ---- spoilers (from DI that are in DIII, they wont be spoilers if you beat act one in DIII)

The names all match the original, the loactions have always been somewhat the same, but DIII is from my understanding almost I all over in a wierd way. Its almost like they just decided to use alot of the same stuff. In DI you fought teh BUTCHER and SKELTON KING as 2 "boss" monsters.. this one is the same.. but instead of just HARD mobs in the dungeons, they are events so to speak. same names, more lore behind them. if you are reading and listening to the lore (love how its voiced, so i can play and listen instead of stall out and read) the lore all plays to DI too, it even pays some love to old names ( I mentioned Wirt already).. when you ahve played umn all those touchs are nice.. not game changing in any way, just fun for us old guys to discuss and smile at.. nothing more..

I thought the same thing haha. If I was younger and had the time like I used to, I probably would have beaten the first two in anticipation for the third. Prior to playing, I was worried I might be lost not having playing the others. I was glad to see that's definitely not the case.

To take it a step further, I bought the CE edition, and didn't touch ANY of the documentation or extras. I'll probably save that for after I finish the game single player. For now though, I may as well have bought the digital download (though I would have missed out on a few in-game cosmetic extras, I think).

well after matts diablo thing

well after matts diablo thing i see alot of the original in this one, far more then I would have remebered without his memory jog. Blizzard was always good with lore.. wirt, Loric, even lazarus fro, the very begening.. If i was hardcore like the old days i would have played 1 then 2 and now 3.. i think it would be cool to see how it all ties toghter somewhat.

One thing.. the bad luck, get a special, get the hard fight, get a random special all at once and die is not gone!

And barb, i went back and yes, he(she) is not as bad as I felt regen items help alot.. Im so used to building my tanks with Armour and DPS i tend to forget some important stuff. And the requirment to pick up the hearts? during battles.. the one play mechanic they have changed.. pots.. no more spamming um.. more health management with cool downs and items.

Dont know my battle tag, but will post.. going to add you all.. but I too will finish solo first.

By the way, I plan on playing

By the way, I plan on playing single player only until I beat it once, but after that I'll be mostly multi-player. I'm BillLog#1540 for those interested.

And MONK.. will be nerfed if you play one, level fast.. I havent met a boss i cant stand toe toe with and not use heal and pots and live through iwth some carefull playing. How you doing with Barb Bill? early game i felt he was lacking armour.. he does ok DPS but man is he getting abused up close on bosses.

So far I'm having no issues with my female barbarian, though I certainly haven't progressed anywhere near where you are as of yet. I think I've only gotten my health knocked down low once, otherwise it's been smooth sailing. Finding those two magic armor items that regenerate health early on seem to have done the trick for me so far, though I imagine I'll have to trade them eventually when their protection levels (AC) are too low...

well i did a bit of marthon

well i did a bit of marthon today (and last night). Its woking fine almost all the time now. I had one lag spike when one of the RANDOM 3 Blues encounters happned.. I was playing nightmare.. and died.. level 17... that really pissed me off. I just reliezed.. unles i have a perfect connction all the time.. nightmare mode is pretty much impossible.. any lag spike at wrong time will kill ya. And with perma death that matters.. In multi player games you can be protected.. but ... NO SOLO nightmare unless you feel like you will never have a spike or lag. I was kinda blowing this allways on thing off, didnt really matter, but it does now. I dont know anybody who has a perfect connect all the time. The game keep you in game for so many seconds when you disco ( or lag) im a bit dispointed.. I can start over.. but why... i will get lag or a disco again and it will all be worthless.
yes Im venting.. the challange is suposed to tbe the game. and on nightmare it is... but dang..

And MONK.. will be nerfed if you play one, level fast.. I havent met a boss i cant stand toe toe with and not use heal and pots and live through iwth some carefull playing. Maybe I'm lucky, but I haven't run into any lag or server issues. Is anyone still having these problems?

If anyone is interested my battletag is Beej#1483

I've played a little over 3

I've played a little over 3 hours so far and I'm enjoying the hell out of the game. It clearly isn't innovative in any way, but that doesn't bother me. The thing is, most RPGs these days, like Skyrim, are overwhelming. To me, RPGs like that tend to feel like work more than a game. Diablo 3 being so simple, I can sit down and really enjoy myself without constantly wondering if I'm doing something wrong or missing something. I don't know, it's hard to explain the game's charm, but I feel like it represents the true essence of gaming, entertainment. Not being convoluted just so the developer can say the game and "deep."

I must admit the more i play

I must admit the more i play the more I like. Im a bit supriesed it seems evne th slight dely betwnee the beta and full release things have changed (all good). Enjoy it so much I played all character classes to end of act one to see which i liked best ( only playe demon hunter and witch in beta). I wont say it will last all game.. but wow.. the Caster (wizard, scor's forget name) is clear winner.. I suspect that may change later.. soon as you get the shove spell.. unless you back yourslef into a corner.. nothing stops you.. most the other classes have crowd escapes.. but as mobs have mass.. its hard to push through.. so the ability to push them is quite efffective.. and couple that with some intense DPS... (ice beam) and the masive dps of he static charge (hrd to aim.,.but dang it cleans a room).. I would say i like the Caster then the MOnk.. BUT now that i played um all its hard to pick even then.. I liek the Witchdocters pets.. but they are not scaling well (but I would guess they will get btter.. just like the Necro in D2)..

this is Blizz, Polished to perfection.. damn fine game.
