Not as irrational as you

Not as irrational as you might think. For me it's not about the money even, I could easily afford buying the game but time is sparse so ultimately an important factor is how convenient it is to get the game now and here. Without waiting for some days, without DVD media hassle etc. I'd buy it in a heartbeat on Steam (in fact I'd buy all 3 ME parts there again if they had them and I prefer that over a pirated copy anytime) but since they are not I don't want to bother with having to order it off-net.

I loved the first one, played

I loved the first one, played it through three times. One of the very few RPGs I've had the time or desire to play through more than once.

The second one however, I never even finished. It just wasn't doing it for me.

The third. I think I'll skip it and save myself the money :S

Wow, I never heard that particular justification for piracy before. Kudos for coming up with something fresh, if still completely irrational...

I really enjoyed the first

I really enjoyed the first one, bit long in the tooth after the early game and it seemed to feel stretched in the end. The 2nd one was alot (as mentioned above) like DA2.. I felt like it was less... Most games go, what did we do in the first one great, not so great and awful.. they add more of the great, fix the not so great and change the awful. Both DA2 and ME2 felt like none of those rules where followed. Of course it could be that both games are kinda the same .. but one with swords and one with lasers.. so to speak. I must say IM SURE i will get it.. but not till its $10 on gamefly or ebay.

I haven't been keeping up

I haven't been keeping up with the news about it. So they did drop RPG elements from ME3? That's very lame.

I feel a lot like Dragon Age

I feel a lot like Dragon Age about this one.

Once they dropped some of the RPG elements for the second installment, I didn't find it as interesting.

My option is not on there,

My option is not on there, but I'll get it eventually just to complete the series. I have the first two on the Xbox 360, but didn't even start two yet.
