It looks nice. The movement

It looks nice. The movement reminds me of one of my favorite older RPG games from Interplay, called Stonekeep. It's that mixed static and fluid, when you move everything moves fluidly but you move in a tile based way. Looks interesting though. I may have to check it out.

Supposedly the engine is entirely their creation. I actually kind of like that pseudo-turn based effect (authentic to the inspiration), though I bet it would look cool with smooth scroll as well.

I've Tweeted about this a few times. It's a group of Finnish developers with some good experience in the industry. I assume they're being frank about riffing on DM, though, but it's not like it hasn't been done before (EOB!). This one looks like they've got an engine used for FPS and sort of jury rigged it for the discrete tile-movement of DM. Not sure how that's going to play out; why would you necessarily want that kind of movement when you could have it be fluid?

I have been watching this one

I have been watching this one for about a year. It really looks like a DM clone.. in fact the sounds even sound like they where ripped from DM.. IM sure they where not, but man, it looks so much like it (spell system, attack system, etc) you cant help to feel it some..

Purchase for me on release day for sure.

.

I think this is one of those games that I'll have to buy, even if the reviews are terrible.

No awe, but it does look tremendous!

It looks amazing. I think I'd prefer to play the iOS version if it's optimized for iPad. Considering they need to create PC/Mac assets, I'm thinking that shouldn't be an issue...
