Here's my affiliate link: http://www.gog.com/en/promo/cyan_games_2/?pp=12f0de3dc76e067d21ed8512571...

They even have Manhole!!!

This deal is only good until August 29th. Needless to say, if you've never played any of these games, you've missed out on a critical piece of adventure game history. In my opinion, all but Uru still hold up well today.

If that works for everything

If that works for everything then, all of the games i purchased a little while earlier should reflect back to you. Do you get a synopsis or a daily count on who uses your link to purchase software?

Any of the links with the affiliate code will work. I think it stores a cookie or something that lets them know, so you don't have to have one for every page.

FWIW:

This is an example of your unique link that redirects users to GOG.com:

GOG.com

You used to have a link directly to GOG.com that gave you a kickback on all purchases there. What happened to that? I cannot find it. Now that I'm working a steady full time job there are some games I want to buy and I want you guys here to get a cut and I cannot find the button for you to get your rightful nod. Please let me know if I'm just stupid and not seeing it.

bought, I love puzzle games but burn throuhg them to quick. I haent played all ot them, but Myst i did.. I think i prefred 7thGuest ( horror theme) but Myst was fun too.. And this price was right for sure. Anybody looking ofr some Funny new ones, Puzzle Agent (one and two) are both on most digital download services.. fun too (but way to easy).

My wife and I are always playing them. We recently burned through two on the Wii that were quite nice. This one I highly recommend:

Really nice mix of hidden object and puzzles, and they did a great job with the interface. To top it off, you can co-op it or compete to find objects.

I'm really shocked there aren't a thousand such games for the Wii, but for whatever moronic reason they're far and few between. Seems like such a no-brainer for the platform! I just don't get it.

Hehe, I was about to say. Not that it didn't have some great artwork and music, but audiovisuals just couldn't make up for the wrecked development cycle. It started off as a misguided MMO. I guess at some point they realized it was a no-go and tried to salvage their assets with a single-player game.

It does make you wonder, though. Is it possible to make an adventure game as an MMO? How would it work? Cyan's plan (IIRC) was to try to have players work together to solve puzzles and perhaps create their own content. Perhaps the user gen stuff might have worked, but we all know how poorly coordinated people can be online, especially in random groups.

Uru?

Man, I couldn't disagree with you more about Uru. My least favorite by far.

Definitely a great deal!

Definitely check out Uru, as that was an incredible game. If you loved Myst, it's not a bad idea to check out RealMyst, as that is beautiful, even more so than the original.

Here's a review I wrote for it back in 2005:
