I do agree alot of his appeal

I do agree alot of his appeal may just be the the work he chose. I am a huge Firefly fan (I think the dialog is great, and that is the writer) but he seems to pull that of well. I must admit i have only watched some of his stuff (none of the Castle, or DRIVE (who didnt think that was going to fail even before seeing a single show?).. maybe my like of him is purely from a few well writen shows he has done. Bruce was alwasy a geek fan thing for me also.. but I must admit the B movies he has picked late in his carer are BAD! not even over the top camp is makeing some worth watching. His book (confessions of a B movie actor) is pretty good short read I thought, and if he truely wrote it he has a good sence of humor. To many guys that just seem to have that Appeal that dont make it.. Timothy Olphant (Deadwood, hitman) alwasy struck me as a a lister who will never make it too.. I guess I will never understand how stars are made.. I love Jack Nicholson, but I still swear he is as one demnsional as Arnie (and i know thats not a fiar comparsion at all).. he has one bit and he does it on every movie he has mad.. the slumpy, im in total control, who cares what you think bit (sorry that not a good discription, but Im not sure how to describe it). I do admit his early work he was quite varied. Easy Rider, 5 Easy Piece.. up till about Pritzzis Honor when age finally caught him.. after that.. its one person he plays.. in 20 different roles..

Incendintly I have been watching a ton of "just released" moveis.. I am a HUGE Unforgivin (clint eastwood)fan.. but kind found the new True Grit a bit boring... great acting, some of the back and forth dialog was great, and the gunfights/action when it happend was good.. but there was just a bit to much "nothing" in parts of the film. Some of the quirky stuff was entertaining, but in a very slight way.. the Dead guy and idian sellling him stuff.. its quirky but it almost felt like filler.
One that Suprised the heck out of me.. and I really liked "Drive Angry" with Nick Cage.. with his money problems he has slipped to that " i will do any movie" area..So i expected some car chase shoot um up average movie.. and it was.. but there is a slight Twist the previews never pushed that I enjoyed and pushed it to a movei I really liked.. the Accountant is a character I will remeber.. he deserves his own movie.

Yeah, his time has pretty much passed, though it has not passed quite as far as Bruce Campell's, whose career should have gone better (though he's had a fine career all told, and he continues to get quality, smaller-scale work). I was never a big fan of Fillion myself, but I can see the appeal, particularly in the work that he has chosen (including a long-time collaboration with Whedon).

I very distinctly remember

I very distinctly remember the Donkey Kong cereal, obviously pre-NES era. Hand kind of a Captain Crunch taste that I was never a particularly big fan of. I recall eating Pac-Man cereal as well, but other than the marshmallows I don't recall much of the flavor.
