Matt's Wednesday Queue

Here's my take on the hottest news for Wednesday, May 18th.

PSN logins exploited again, Sony takes pages offline. Sony in consultations with TSA to improve security; new system utilizes The PlayStation Eye and requires taking off shoes and submitting to nude-ray scan.

New Xbox 360 update incompatible with some models, MS offering replacements. Don't worry, folks, this update just features those new DRM features you requested. Oh, wait--you didn't request those???

Coffee Wards Off Cancer. Specifically, this is for prostate cancer--you know, that organ that becomes increasingly useless with coffee breath and yellow teeth. Mmm!

Netflix Passes Piracy in U.S. Net Traffic. Interesting how convenience does more to stop piracy than DRM. Oh, wait, that's a stoopid lesson to learn!!! Go Microsoft!!!

New Solar Product Captures Up to 95 Percent of Light Energy. Product based on my skin after 10 minutes exposure to sun. Hey!!! Don't touch there, it hurts!

Since my 360 seems to have

Since my 360 seems to have finally joined almost every other one released the first 2 years (dead) I want to know how to find out if the new disc format will work with mine!!!! a free new one would be nice.. I think the odds of mine being one are good, there cant be more then 10-12 of us who still have launch day machines :) and odds are the early hardware is the least compatible.

PSNetwork- i just dont know what to say.... even me as a support of sony cant see how they can keep tripping up.. its one thing to have stupid stuff said by people ( they are human they make mistakes) but security... you gotta keep a lid on that.

Netflix- amazing really, when you look at the numbers last year it was HUGE! and its gotten alot bigger. I know my Netflix Insta Q has over 300 items and several of them are series (which can have several seasons and 20+ shows a season)... currently watching Star Gate (on season 1 about 15 in...) not feeling the love for this most people who told me to watch it did. While i enjoy it, there sems to be a real lack budget and it shows with very restrained writing IMHO. Thouhg I must admit the first 10 or so where so-so, the last few have been better. DOWNSIDE, ISP are complaining to anybody that will listen that NETFLIX needs to be charged for this, and they are gaining some ground. As streaming Media takes off you know the infrastucture is already crap in the US and the providers sure are not going to foot the bill and improve thier service, me and you will be paying for that. I love Netflix but can see some real issues incomming really soon.

Coffee- never liked it. guess my prostate will have to take its chances.
