Entertianment Weekly had a list. All fairly good games consider they are not gamer related. The thing that struck me as I went through them was.. Zelda... Now I know thats not the best example.. but man.. the console games all do put thta to shame.

I must admit Hunted is mayeb the one I look forward to most.. co op in that type of game interests me. I think one reason I like L4D so much is the co-op isnt about kills(though that is a hard one to get the gameing public to understand, tehy still rush headlong in for kills when thre really is no score so to speak), not even so much eliminating the enemy, its all about team play.. which sadly is its biggest downfall, the mouth breathers who can populate it sometimes really destroy the fun.

You're probably spot on with how those games will be designed. When they set out crank out a game based on a movie they probably just discuss, "hey which successful game franchise fits the movie's model best?" In the end I think those games are only on the list because Entertainment Weekly stands to gain from advertising the movies.

Did you get Crysis 2? What did you think of it?

Yes... and fairly happy with the purchase. The urban open areas are a blast. Nice change from jungle, and the enemy will really do its best to mess with you. The nagtive is they put you in closed envirments to often so you cant use all those great ways to get to a enemy sometimes. Its not a HUGE change from Cysis one other than location. They have changed the suit powers... they are the same powers but they dont work quite the same.. maximuim armour is like all the others now its short lives, good for intence up close stuff but it burns off quickly like the other powers. Its not full time like it used to be. Youfight Humans most of the time ( so far) and a few aliens... they are damn hard I thought make the monkey guys in Far Cry seem easy, and the blue Aliens in Crysis seemed much easeir too. Thankfully they seem to come in pairs at teh worst most of the time.. but I have had a 4-5 on 1 fire fight with them a coupel times.. its alot of pray for cover and good luck on aiming in spurts. It had some strange motion blur thing that drove me nuts, no way to turn it off without messing with the CFG file.

Over all its a good game, makes you pay for mistakes and quite fun I found. If you liked Far Cry or Crysis i would say buy it for sure.

there are only 3 movie tie

there are only 3 movie tie ins :) but I agree, its almost a givin they will be bad games or at best mildly playable. I never noticed it the first time through as I dont buy those games... Touhg I must admit some of the newer ones have been slightly entertiaining. Batman AA- great game. I liked the last HULK game, it was quite fun to smash the crap out of everything, but when it was the ONLY answer to the games levels it started to get old... well all excpet the super jump travel, I could have done that for hours, I know Im wierd. The GI JOE game that came out after movie, I understand the hate for it, but I liked it (again, just as it was mindless blasting). Not many are good, but most are somehwat fun to play. I think the real problem is they are all some other game (shamelessly ripped off) with the movie Tie In characters. Heck I even liked the Terminator game, even if it had like 6 total different enemies. But again, I do know where you are commign fun.. any of the movei tie in games... If i didnt get um for $10 I would be very unhappy with them.

here is my prediction:
Thor: God Of War Ripoff (which wouldbe a good thing
Captian America: crap
Green lantern: Protype/ Infamous ripoff

I have a suspicion this list

I have a suspicion this list is 9 parts advertisement and 1 part honesty. Several games based on movies listed by Entertainment Weekly? Shameless.

I'm looking forward to three games mainly. Those being:

- Skyrim (most likely game of the year, unless Fallout 3's goty status works against it)
- LA Noire
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution
