iTunes Review

Hey guys, been a little busy with school so I only just got caught up with April's podcast. Excellent as always! The upside to being behind is I'm now that much closer to May's podcast.

Matt, I clicked on your link for iTunes, but I don't see anywhere on the page in either Firefox 4 or IE 9 where I actually submit the review. I've given star ratings to all the episodes from within iTunes, though I'm not certain whether or not iTunes uses that or if it's just supposed to be for my own personal use (Is that in case people forget they like something...?) I couldn't find a way to do so from within iTunes either, though I'm not overly familiar with iTunes. I actually only finally broke down and downloaded iTunes just for this podcast, so I don't use it regularly.

I do see the review by TriVerse, but I can't see a way to submit my own. Any ideas on what's going wrong? Thanks for any help and keep on with the great show!

Yeah, iTunes is a pain. You

Yeah, iTunes is a pain. You have to have it and an account do be able to rate podcasts, and you need to input payment info to do that. Still, from what I hear it's still the #1 podcasting site. If you get enough ratings, reviews, and downloads to appear on their radar, you've got a shot at the big leagues. That's when we start getting 50,000+ views per episode.

If you don't want to do that but still want to help, there are certainly other podcast aggregation out there. I don't ever use them, so I'm not sure which ones are worth bothering with. Podcast.com's search engine is down atm, so I'm not putting too much stock there. I've heard of Podcast Alley before, but don't think we've added our site to them. Maybe when the next episode hits, I'll go around and try to get us listed on all these indexes and catalog sites.

I am so bored

Seriously, lol? I feel like every new episode gets further and further from the month before.
I know you guys put a lot of work into these. I'm a big fan and I can't wait! I've been checking in for the last week for episode 10.

Hey Matt, I finally sat down to watch some Matt Chats the other day and they were good!
There are so many games I'll never get to play and even though that 10 min limit is a curse
it kind of works out well. I'm still in the first 30 or so and my only criticism is that I wish
there were fewer game movie clips and more talk about later in the game. Also, 30 secs is a
long intro for a 10 min video IMO.

Episode 10

Hey Red -

We shoot for a monthly release, however that can fluctuate depending on when each of us has the time to do our own segments. We have been working hard to get multiple segments done for the next episode, and I expect it to come together soon. Thank you for your comments.

Hey, Red, yeah it took me

Hey, Red, yeah it took me awhile to get the formula down. I'd avoid episode 50 if you hate long intros, btw.

Somewhere after that I move to a 10-second intro and cut way back on intro movies and such, so you'll warm up to it.
