Has anyone here successfully switched out a save battery on a Genesis or SNES cartridge?
I have a Shadowrun cartridge I'm trying to bring back to life, and I wondered if it was worth it. I do have some soldering skills and have seen some of the youtube clips.
Anybody done this?
Hell with it, I just got a working save copy of shadowrun instead.
doesn't look as if you need elite skills even if you have to solder.....
Haven't tried it yet but I've got a gamebit ready and waiting for when one of my SNES cartridge fails. I've heard that some carts require a bit of solder and some don't. No idea if that's true - must open a couple of carts to have a look..
