Is it possible to change the title of the RSS feed to just "Armchair Arcade", instead of "Armchair Arcade - The Gurus of Gaming - Videogames and Computers"? I use personalized Google to display the feeds of my favorite sites, but the AA title takes up 4 lines of text and thus leaves too little space for the actual feed.

Sorta fixed it...

I managed to get a hard return after the caption, so at least you can read it. It still doesn't look very neat though. The problem is somewhat complicated...The module img_assist inserts a bit of HTML around each image. However, this HTML makes reference to some CSS that doesn't get included in the feed. So, basically, it just gets tags that it doesn't know what to do with. I just added a simple
at the end of the span...This won't fix the current images, but should work for images posted in the future.

I'm hoping they'll address this issue in the next update of img_assist...Not much I can do with it now. If I try to make changes to the module itself, it'll probably screw up all the images on the site!

That's because I see only

That's because I see only the headlines, no pictures or bodytext. I tend to be not bothered by the layout of feeds as well, so i had to look twice at the feedburner page to see what you meant. Oh well. Good luck fixing that ;)

Problem with images/captions in RSS Feed

Mrcustard, I'm surprised you didn't mention that the images and captions seem to be smashed together in the reader. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem or not, but I tend to get some pretty ugly RSS feeds from this site. I've made two posts on the drupal support forum about it, but it looks like we may be on our own here trying to fix it...

That is, assuming someone besides me is having the problem!

We may need the services of a PHP programmer to get it right...

Ermm.. I think something did

Ermm.. I think something did go wrong there Matt! The feedburner URL is now "http://feeds.feedburner.com/ArmchairArcade", which is different from what it was, but the title is still the old long one! (As is the title of the internal feed, for that matter). Also, the big RSS no longer works, because it still points to the old URL.

updated the feed

I updated the feed at feedburner, so hopefully it will just use the title from now on. You can also use drupal's built-in feed here.

It wouldn't. The title isn't

It wouldn't. The title isn't passed in the URL at all. It's just a text field in the XML-stream that
holds the feed contents. (That is the beauty of RSS). Any viewer will automagically update the title to reflect the changes.

Would that make pre-existing

Would that make pre-existing links invalid to it then Mr. Custard? I agree it's overkill, but if it breaks the links already established to it, we might be stuck.
