I finished Bioshock. It was a bit scary for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it.

I will finish Bioshock! I must! The opening was the best in a videogame ever, however the story/pace of the game took a giant dump on me about 2 hours into it and didn't turn out to be a simple slow point. I also didn't expect it to be such an action shooter driven game when it's overshadowed by a plethora of much better fps designs out there. I want my story driven game back!

Yeah, it hit midnight here

Yeah, it hit midnight here and my wife and I were already in bed, watching Top Gear (the original british show, not that godawful american version) and we were both asleep with 30 minutes of the new year, so yeah, excitement here in the state of Kansas as well. I would still very much like to make an adventure game with the AGS program. We just need people whom can draw. I know that's tough, but I still think it can be done!

I think I'd very much like to

I think I'd very much like to actually get serious about designing and implementing some games. I'd like to explore that side of the fence more. I'm going to get serious about exploring what tools are out there to help noobs and hopefully start putting up some.

In bed sick

LOL I was in bed sick with Manflu and the Runs. Didn't celebrate a thing this year. Kinda tough for wifey but she was also feeling a bit under the weather. At midnight we wished each other a happy new year and I was off to the toilet yet again. (I know too much information). The past year was an absolute nightmare with two family members getting cancer. I'm hoping for a somewhat better year for 2011...

Resolutions? Actually finish more games instead of stopping at 70-80% or skipping parts. Trying to loose myself as bit more into the story and submerse myself into the game's realm.

Didnt like bioshock! oh

Didnt like bioshock! oh nooes! I thouhgt it was pretty good, but can see it not being everybodies cup of tea. I enjoyed the fact you had a clear cut good or evil way to go. I did not like the enemy selection, stuff you could shot and stuff you had to unload a metric ton of ordance into to even slow down (big daddies). And the final showdown (err you havent finished so wont go into it). I have had a bit of tough time with the second one, i feel way to slow and powerless as a big daddy.. speed is quite an asset.

Same here, Clok (Minnesota). Went to bed around 11:30. Pretty damn bleak around here.
