OSX desktop on Windows XP

IcemanIceman Tired of the old WindowsXP look? Contemplating buying a new Macintel Machine? Perhaps this could tie you over until you make up your mind. A guy with the Nick Iceman seems to have created a website with links to files needed to configure your WindowsXP gui to look more like OSX.

I haven’t tried this myself as I get my Mac-fix with help of my trusty G4 that has been upgraded to almost maximum possible specs for such a system. Oh I wish Apple would make it's software available for regular x86 systems. I have a pc for my gaming needs and for compatibility purposes with work.

absolutely right.

You're right Erwin, I won't try it out especially since I have a mac - which I can control remotely with help of Xvnc by the way - replacing system DLL's with hacked versions might not be such a good idea. But two of my friends (Frank en Ad) have 'enhanced' their and desktops haven't had any ill effects or suffered system instability. Despite the fact that both their machines are known hardware hazards (self built, cheapest, low budget components) - " to sit for a postcard on the first row" to quite some famous Dutch politician speaking their wierd Dutchenlish.

Hmmm... 2 of the components

Hmmm... 2 of the components require replacing system dll's with hacked versions. That doesn't sound like a very good idea.

On another note... the 360 is up and running :D
