Couple of page samples to show off what we have done so far things are really moving fast now. A lot of people have worked hard on this and it's really coming along nicely so I would rather the work speak for itself::

In case anyone is worried there's a good mix of PAL and US stuff, even mention of the GameBoy in a NES standoff. Tried to cover as much as possible for a first issue and think there's enough for all to enjoy!

I checked out the video of "Super Bat Puncher." It looks like an AMAZING homebrew game, easily comparable to the best of the NES titles!

It does make you wonder what

It does make you wonder what some of the companies back in the day could come up with if they were to return to the system. Just imagine if the system were really pushed to it's limits!

good read, its amazing how he made it look like a game from the past, maybe a limitation of the harware, but I think its more the programmer. I enjoyed reading it and looking at hte old school screens, really brings bak memories. I think its cool to see a game that I cant tell didnt come from the same time frame its ancestors did.

Proud to say we have a major

Proud to say we have a major plus to the site today, a developer interview with Sivak Games. The guys behind the home brew release Battle Kid and a few tid bits on it's sequel. Also take a deeper look into what's involved in programming for the NES:
