Well, maybe they shouldn't have made it exclusive to the least-selling system. D'oh!

Still prefer my PS3. But only

Still prefer my PS3. But only as I prefer the controler (i know most liek the 360 one, so minority on that).. but after that i look at games I play..

360- Earth Defence Force
PS3- Uncharted (both games)
Demons Souls -best game of this console generation (my opinion)
Little Big Planet - I know, but I love to creat, that part hooked me
Heavy Rain- hooked me, again not sure why..but finished it a couple times to see how some things efected the game

The FPS stuff.. not a fan of it on consoles... so that eliminates about 75% of all games.

I have WAY more games for the 360.. like 2-300, and hte PS3 has maybe 100.. if its on both systems I buy for the 360 normaly (cheaper to replace the unit if it fails) and game prices on the 360 are just cheaper (i buy used almost all the time). But I play more on the PS3.. And I do like the BlueRay player ...alot... to much I want to buy the dang things.. Avatar looked awsome, (to bad its just a fun popcorn movie).. and the New Blue Ray Aliens Box set..... WATCHMAN, V for Venddetta.. my poor old DVD player gets no love anymore.

I agree, the 360 is my favorite games machine this generation, bar none. I'd place PS3 second and Wii third at this point, though of course each has its must play titles.

360 vs PS3

Without question. I couldn't afford one or the other till about one year ago but when I made a "T" chart of exclusive titles I wanted, the 360 side completely overwhelmed PS3. Sorry Uncharted and MGS4, I know you're both amazing but I can play you at my friend's house.

If I had it do over again, I

If I had it do over again, I would definitely buy a 360 instead of a Wii. We really only ever played Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, and a bit of Metroid Trilogy; after that, it's just collecting dust. I don't think I've turned it on since I used it to watch some Netflix a month or so ago. Kinda sad, really.

I think I would have gotten a lot more value out of a 360 since so many of my friends have them. Still, it was neat to get to experience the motion sensors and all.

360 Wins and Wii does have some good games

As a 360 owner I clearly thinking the 360 has won this generation war between Microsoft and Sony. The 360 got it right in terms of price point, exclusive titles, advertising and word of mouth...fair enough it did have some bad press with the RRoD in the older consoles, but I know far more people who have 360's than PS3's.

In terms of the Wii, I do have one and still play it on regular occasions, what it is good for is old arcade ports and remakes, HOTD 2+3, HOTD: Overkill, Ghost Squad and Nintendo's own products, Mario, Zelda, Metroid and Donkey Kong Country. Whilst most publishers will push Shovelware onto console there are some good 'gems' that are worth playing...Madworld for example.

I for one have managed

I for one have managed without a 360 or PS3 this gen and genuinely don't feel the need for either. Had a chance to get one free when my wife changed her mobile phone last month. The deal came with 2 games and I honestly couldn't pick two games for either console that I'd want to play. Maybe I'm out of touch though - FPS as a genre bores me.

I will probably get one of them at some point and the 360 may get the nod because of the online content - but then that's not really for collectors - is it?

I read somewhere that women

I read somewhere that women make better snipers than men. So who knows?

Maybe one day we'll get over the sexism in the military and allow female combat troops.

9 Yr Old likes 360 better...

Kids LOVE the Wii! And kids who weren't even born when it first came out are getting old enough for them now.

That's a great observation. Maybe that's been one of Nintendo's strengths--target the youngest children, and get that turnaround every five years.

We got the Wii a few years ago and the 7 yr old that is 9 now would much rather play the 360. She's been watching me play all the major games for the 360 and loves to play them after watching for awhile (monitored of course). Anything "Halo" is her favorite, followed by Marvel Ultimate Alliance. She also goes nuts watching me play Gears of War. She somehow has a better sense of vision and clues me in to the enemy on-screen...screaming when they show up and going crazy when they get killed. I think I may need to "watch" her!!

Cheers
