It looks like an interesting platformer, but.... uhhh, why is she in a bikini or underwear? There are some aspects of the Japanese culture that I will never get I guess. and I studied it for 5 years!

Hehe I "get it". When i was young and back in that game age that would have been sexy.. We discussed it before. for or against, most gamers are male (this is changing alot, but when that game was made it was mostly male) and sex sells. like it or not, its just a fact. Im sure I would have said the same thing back then.. Why is she on here? But other htan thinking htat I wouldnt have cared. Nowdays I do care, slightly, a cover with a Monster truck jumping 50 cars.. and the game is about 4x4 racing (no jumping cars or anything).. that bugs me...
Look at covers for most "fantasy" sword games of the 80's early 90's... the hero is most likely a guy, yet it will almost have some girl on the cover in a state of undress.. thats part of the fantasy thing.
never played this one.
I have known about this game since it came out, like the music the gameplay and the half naked Japanese girl in the title screen. I guess the creators must think retrogamers were dying for some sort of 'sexy Giana sisters'

This game has been on my list to post since it's release but it was very hard to describe it in any meaningful way. For what it is, it's nice.. I do like the gameplay..
At this point I'll take anything new for the C64.. quirky or not. :-)
For some reason I couldn't figure out how to order...
That's the link that was given for their "company".. and since the site is in Portuguese it makes it even more difficult to figure out. Plus, I don't think the process is automated.. more like an order via email type of situation.
I'll have to give this a try. The packaging is quite nice.
