That gets my vote!

Here it is with solid yellow and the original gradient tagline colors.

I'm OK with this as long as the tagline works on the blue header we have on the site. Everyone else?

We can always try it on for a week or so and then decide whether to make it permanent or tweak it.

I love it!

Although if you could go back to the earlier white text with black outline for the "Videogames and Computers" I'd like it even more, either way I think that looks fantastic! Top work!

I'm getting wishy-washy here, but I'm thinking I like this one the best in a direct comparison to the new version. It makes it more readable than the interlocking and I think it has better balance. Maybe go back to this one and then you can do something with the "videogames and computers" part (though I think it's fine as-is, just a bit blurry with the shadowing at that size)? What do you think of it in terms of legacy support?

Then maybe it needs racing stripes or something. Something needs to fill that gap.

Can't really help out with the racing stripes... but I can clip it.

That seems to work. I'm not sure I dig the banding in the "Armchair Arcade", but it certainly looks good. I assume it's readable by the average person? We should do some tests with people who aren't familiar with Armchair Arcade to see if they can easily read it. Also, I'm not sure if the "Videogames and Computers" part will work on the blue background. We may wish to keep it solid black and this way it subjugates more to the main name.
