Welcome back to Three for the Road. This week we have another line up of quality indie titles for you to check out. One puzzle game which is reminiscent of one of my favorite Commodore 64 puzzlers, One maze game with it's roots entrenched in two of classic gamings greatest titles, and one experimental platformer that shows the industry what kind of fun can be had when you start breaking all the rules.

Check it all out here!

ChromatronChromatron: "Four free games of laser beams and mirrors, for the Windows PC and Mac OS X. Features 200 levels of fun, 50 in each game! No cost, no ads, no popups, just a game that will absorb as much time as you're willing to spend on it."

I had a good time playing these games and they provide a wealth of puzzle fun in a very small file size. Sort of reminded me of Deflektor for the Commodore 64.

CobexCOBEX - Cruising on Broadway Extra: "This is a simple but addictive colouring game where you have to recolour a series of levels while avoiding chasers who will sap your energy.

The faster you complete a level the more bonus points you will collect – you can even receive more points than a level starts with if you are fast and clever."

Great game with a nice retro pixel style presentation. Qix and Pac-Man had a love-child... and this is it.

7th Swarming of the Machines7th Swarming of the Machines: This game was created for the 8th Ludum Dare 48 hour coding compo. The theme of the contest was 'swarms'. DrPetter, the creator of this game, decided to make the swarms be the actual level platforms themselves. Interesting concept and quite fun to play.

The overall goal is to collect all of the Jetpack items which are scattered around the level and are represented on your radar. Controls are simple: arrow keys move, Z = Jetpack, X = Fire.

Hope you enjoy the titles this week and I'll be back next Sunday with three more.
