Never got into the 128

But to this day I still got my C64. I regret skipping the Amiga and going to the PC. I own an Amiga now but I missed out on it in it's Prime.

I have somewhat mixed feelings on the 128D. I have a 128DCR model and it's the model I pull out the most these days. It has a few upgrades, including JiffyDOS and some ROM chips. My feelings are a bit mixed on it for the simple fact that it feels the least like a Commodore 8-bit computer because it has somewhat of the boring PC box look to it. I do love the triple modes though and the fact that I can place the monitor (my trust 1084S naturally) on the CPU.

Yeah, the 128 was a lot of fun. I did feel that the CP/M OS was more trouble than it was worth (it was very slow on the 128.. plus, I already had a behemoth Cromemco S100 CP/M machine to tool around on.. so maybe it just didn't seem as impressive.).

But, alas, it was eclipsed fairly quickly by the Amiga 1000 and 500 so it really never had a chance to catch it's stride.
