Some Ideas.

I think it 's fine the way it is but if you really want to change it, you could have animated objects instead of just squares. For example emoticons of different colors, funny / cute little characters that morph as they shrink.

Sound.....You ever play the arcade game Qix? It made 2 different sounds when you made a square, depending on weather you did it fast or slow. Something similar to that may also add to the game. I guess you would have to have multiple ones of different pitches for secondary and tertiary, etc, reactions. Any way, my point is, if your looking to "spruce up" your game some more, (and boost sales of course :) ) you may want to consider more elaborate sounds when you upgrade the graphics.

These are just some thoughts....since you asked. Hope it inspires. :)

A youtube video of Qix to give you a reference of the sound I was referring to.

Fun little game

I tried it, I liked it, I made the purchase. I'm sure I'll get plenty of hours of enjoyment out of it. :)

I'll check what their gripes were exactly. Personally I think the graphics suite the game just great. You've got a lot of homebrew Japanese Shmups featuring the same basic almost neon-like graphics. I love them. Your games do seem to be geared to the more ' intelligentia ' among the gamers.

So how many times has this app been downloaded and bought (I've made a purchase too :P).
Did it take long to develop? Is the iPhone your first dev -platform or have you devved on other platforms as well?
I will definitely go check out your other games!

My other games for the iOS are Numbrosia, Numbrosia 2, and Numbrosia 3.

You could try out Numbrosia for free via NumbrosiaLT:

Just been playing the game and I am impressed

No time for a full review yet but I must say I am impressed. At first glance it looks like one of them color matching games but it is something else altogether. It is like Klax without matching the colors. It is highly addicitive and fun to play once you get the hang of the play mechanics which do have a slightly steeper learning curve than the regular color matching games out there.

Graphics may be a bit on the basic side and so are the sounds but it fits right in there with all the other abstract looking games. It is a great game but it could do with a little more fancy graphics to attract the masses. Every one I showed the game to loved it but did comment on the graphics.

Say I didn't see but did you make other games too?

We could write a review on it here

Perhaps combining it with a YouTube movie. The game is fun enough and both Bill and I have either iPhone or iPod so that won't be difficult.
