Here's the latest Matt Chat, this time with rockstar designer John Romero!
Also, be sure to check out this video response from Bill:
It already seems like distant history when we were in SF together doing these interviews. Man, I hope we get to do something like that again. It was so much fun, but of course it just flew past like a minute.
I love the new truncated intro. Great interview! Can't wait for the next installments with Romero.
I enjoyed the episode as well. Great quotation at the end by the way!
no romero until 3:15 ? FAIL
no romero until 3:15 ? FAIL
Anonymous dig at the first part of a MULTI-PART series not featuring enough of the interview subject? FAIL.

Thanks, Bill. I understand how you feel, Anonymous. I was worried about that, too. I actually had a lot more commentary on this one and decided it was best to cut it out (I've been trying to cut back on the commentary in general). So be thankful you're looking at about 3/4 of what I had originally recorded. :)
I'll be sure to provide special links next time that skip directly to the interview subject, so please stay tuned.
thanks ! no offence, I dont care what you think just want to here romero. just shut up and show the interview d000000d
All right, all right, the public has spoken. The next episodes will have no commentary at all; just straight Romero.
thanks so much matt. i agree with the other postings. commentary isnt needed at all so cut it. No one wants to see a random goof talking about this stuff, they only want to see the games and the man behind them. I notice in your other videos that you talk for 3-4 minutes before getting to the game or person. My advise is to take yourself out of the videos and focus on what people want to see. My two cents !
These anonymous comments are hilarious! I hope Matt does the opposite.

Hehe, well, I expected some of this. I wonder if some of them are just being facetious, but it does make sense that someone searching for a Romero interview would want to see a lot of him. Still, that's not really what my show is about, and there are, after all, plenty of straight-up interviews and such all over YouTube and elsewhere. I'm sorry if you don't value my commentaries and what not, but you of course have no obligation at all to watch the show. If my providing a special link that skips straight to the interview isn't enough, I'm afraid you're just being unreasonable.
