These guys are doing a GREAT job with getting promotion. It's a shame we didn't more opportunities ourselves, but it's nice to have SOMEONE working hard to promote our book! They're definitely media savvy.

Yes, Mark Vergeer is in Italian too!

Say does the Italian version also have my name printed above the Barcode? On the US book I thought that was just so awesome. To have your name on the weirdest spot on the book cover :P

It does have it there, yes. As far as I can tell, it's exactly the same except for less white space and the small addition of their logo on the cover.

Yeah, it's been awhile since

Yeah, it's been awhile since I did some serious book pimping. Need to start talking about them more or do something else to drum up some interest. I think the movie will really escalate sales.

Thanks, Mark. I just got my copy from Bill yesterday and I can confirm this thing is HEAVY. It's probably 2-3 times heavier than the English version and is exquisitely produced. I'm excited for Italian gamers!

I read or heard somewhere that the publishing company is looking next at a translation of On the Edge, the Commodore 64 book.

Yeah, they're going to do On the Edge after a few non-IT books. That will be quite the task for them considering all the text.

I know you don't like doing any other videos other than Matt Chat, but it would probably be beneficial to do a quick video like I did comparing the Italian version to the regular version. We're getting all these extra sales for Vintage Games from somewhere, and I think all the Italian publicity is helping.

Hello all... something about

Hello all...
something about a long story...
The book is a big success in English.
They even talk about the size and weight of the book.
Then actually they talk about what is inside the book.
That the books gives a panoramic overview but also includes specific games like Zork, Pacman etc.
Todays first person shooters and their predecessors etc.
It seems the guy is a teacher as he also greets his students at around the 34:30 mark!

My Italian is very rudimentary...
