the video sold me, I have the 3 monitors (2 on my machine and a 3rd on another) so i guess a new moniter and the crd is all I need. Not Armchair Arcade related but I have that covered too.

You won't regret getting the latest Batman game for the 360. It was so awesome I ended up playing through it in 2 weekends. The storyline, graphics, control of the caped crusader, are all the best I've seen in a long time.

Did you end up getting it?

Cheers

Yep, I was given the collector's edition. Did I play it yet? No. ;-)

It's just a standard USB

It's just a standard USB joystick so it works with anything that runs on your computer. The Legacy Engineering Atari 2600 USB joysticks are kind of disappointing. I've yet to try this one, but I have high hopes for it.

Apparently, it uses WinUAE

From what I've read, it uses WinUAE, but the "front end" is rather inferior, and might be (?) a pain to run. I wonder if I could just use the "Amiga Forever" front-end with this joystick?

I wish someone would come up with a USB Epyx 500XJ..... My fave of all time, with the original Atari controller a close second....

Amiga type USB joystick with 185 licensed games?
Bill Loguidice wrote:

It just arrived a little while ago actually. No, it's just a USB joystick with a standard PC CD containing 185 licensed Amiga games. It's a USB version of the classic Competition Pro joystick. I got that, plus the DB9 version, which naturally is just the joystick.

WOW! As an Amiga nut that looks very sweet. Do i understand it correctly, its just a USB joystick with all those AMIGA games built in? I dont recognise alot of the games but it appears they are german? So they are proebly games i have seen. You gotta do some type of review!!!! I want to order one right now but am going to wait till you say something about it (if i can wait).

man i get a USB joystick and it costs as much as one with games, that looks so cool.

I'm getting a video card too

I'm getting a video card too for my HP TouchSmart PC, which should arrive any day. Since it's an all-in-one PC, it requires a rare laptop-style MMX slot video card, so it's hardly state-of-the-art: Nvidia 512MB 9300M GS (G98M Series). It's important that I get this, because my system kills in all the Windows Experience scores except for video, which drags the whole thing down (in fact, it's worse at video than my Gateway Tablet PC since the HP has shared video memory--the other option would have been to expand to 8GB of memory and increase the share, but I wasn't convinced that would have been a better option, and at the moment, it's much more expensive (though putting a video card in the HP is very difficult, while putting in memory is easy)).

I believe I'm also getting Batman Arkum Asylum for the Xbox 360. That's probably about it for tech related stuff.
