That's a thought, Bill. I thought I would be able to make showing those blocks *optional* for super users instead of an all or nothing situation, but guess it's not that way. I can disable it for user roles.

I'd rather we not do that, frankly, because it's unobtrusive in the sidebar and often contains useful info and deals, particularly for places like Amazon. I hardly consider disabling so-called advertising on AA a "perk" of being a "super user". Our advertising has always been purposely low key and I would be very surprised if it bothered anyone. If someone has their own advertising blocker that's one thing, but I'd prefer everyone see what everyone else is seeing. Surely we can come up with other benefits for "super users", maybe even related to our unlimited space, unlimited e-mail addresses, unlimited sub-domains, etc.
