Randolph Carter Interviews Bill Loguidice

Following in the footsteps of his interview with Matt Barton, Randolph Carter of Grinding to Valhalla has interviewed me for a Reading the text feature, linked here. We talk about Vintage Games, Wii Fitness for Dummies and the videogame documentary, as well as some of my gaming habits and thoughts. I'm sure you've heard a lot of this stuff from me before, but I'd still love to hear any and all comments related to this. Enjoy!"

What do you think our

What do you think our "slant" needs to be? I'm assuming that videogame violence is what they'll want to talk about, but maybe we can turn the tables by positing that videogames are healthy, benign activities (with a few exceptions like GTA, of course).

I don't know if I want to force a slant and taking the violence angle might be a bit tired. We could just focus on the positive aspects of gaming, be it developing hand/eye coordination, cognitive skills, critical thinking, physical fitness, etc., and address any of the "legendary" negatives (violence, anti-social, etc.) as they're brought up.
