We just switched over to a new Web host that offers us unlimited everything (storage, bandwidth, etc.) and that even did all of the transferring of data from the old host. With that in mind, please let us know if you notice anything strange as the name server changes propagate over the Internet. Hopefully this means bigger and better things for everyone at Armchair Arcade. Thanks for the support!

They are literally like 3 miles from me. Everything seems fine on my end!

Hey I have been meaning to ask you guys this for awhile now - Are there any plans for an Armchair Arcade mobile website? I sometimes use my iPhone to read up on the latest blog entries, etc, and it is somewhat troublesome to read the site by zooming in/out and reorienting.

I've been noticing that too

I've been noticing that too on my Blackberry. The site is usable, but not optimized for mobile viewing. Not sure how to make it easier...Maybe move the menus and such to the right instead of the left?

Wouldn't there be a drupal plug-in for this?

Some themes offer a mobile setting - perhaps we should look for such a theme....

Hi, guys. I installed a new theme called "mobile" and enabled it. To select it, go into "my account" and "edit" and select the theme. Let me know if it's an improvement.

Try this

Put this in the header - it should make things a bit easier to read on the iPhone/iPod touch.

<meta name="viewport" content="width=780"/>

Without it, Safari renders your page as if it needs to be 980 pixels wide - but you only need 780 pixels.

mobile-specific theme

On the mobile-specific theme, you would use something like this in the header so the user doesn't have to zoom in:

<meta name="viewport" content="minimum-scale=1.0, width=device-width"/>
