Search in Google for 978-1844255092 and you should find it. Just came out in the UK, not out in the USA yet. Heard about it from Simon Byron, the One Life Left host. Looks OK but there are no reviews yet...

Sounds very similar to the

Sounds very similar to the first book I was doing and is still sitting on the shelf, though this one just covers the highlights. Funny that it uses the British "bespoke" for "custom". Well, anyway, I wish the dude luck with the subject matter. It's always a tough sell getting something like that out.

"The book represents an essential companion to this wonderful medium, acting as an introduction to new players looking to catch up on video gaming's advancements and rich backstory, a software and hardware guide for those thinking of venturing into the hugely rewarding retro gaming scene, or simply as a great nostalgic ride for the seasoned gamer. It highlights 20 key game computers and consoles, showcased in individual chapters detailing historical relevance, technical specifications and a selection of key software titles. It also lists over 240 recommended games ranging from the home gaming scene on the Atari 2600 to the latest release on the PlayStation 3. Illustrating the text are over 200 bespoke photographs of systems, peripherals and rare gaming items."

Seems a bit low on page

Seems a bit low on page count and it's probably UK/Euro-centric. I'll be interested to hear about what's in this one.
