Xbox corrupted saves

Just an update on my Xbox.

As you recall, it worked great except for a disc tray that sticks a lot and the inability to save games in KOTOR.

Thanks to a great dude over at Xbox Scene Forums, I was able to solve the saving problem! And it was so simple!

All I had to do was set the date and time on my Xbox. Now it works great! Woot!

I already gave you that solution in the other thread.

He got me a new game for my Wii called Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. I haven't tried it yet, but it sure looks unique!

Thanks, Bill!

You'll be amazed how similar it is to the Wii version, be it in complete mirror image!

You'd be surprised how easy it is to pick up bargains like Geometry Wars Galaxies and Puyo Pop Fever on Amazon....quite often you will get sealed games for a reasonable price.

GC : Soul Calibur II (£6) and Need for Speed Underground (£5). Need for Speed is a surprise - rather good fun. SCII is one slick package. Also got Beach Spikers Volleyball -(£14) stunning arcade game from Sega and Puyo Pop Fever (£3 sealed!)- excellent upgrade to my favourite puzzle game. Also got Super Mario Sunshine (£7)- decided to give it another go and I'm enjoying it this time.

Saturn : Japanese version of Sega Rally (£5) This still plays silky smooth even if the graphics look a bit on the rough side now. I already have the PAL version but I wanted it for my white Saturn too.

Wii : reacquired Geometry Wars Galaxies (£5 sealed!). I loaned it someone a year ago and it hasn't been returned yet. Lesson learned.

I actually bought a game today!

Funny you should ask "What did you purchase today," because I picked up "Splinter Cell" for the original XBox platform. I already had (and played) the PC version, so I have no intention of playing the XBox version, though.

My recent purchases have all been from the "Good Ol' Games" website. Freespace 2, Descent 3, Toca Race Driver 3, Fallout, Chessmaster 9000, and at least a few others that slip my mind at the moment.

The last physical games I bought were "Puzzle Quest" and "Baldur's Gate," believe it or not. I just don't buy many games anymore, since I've already bought enough games in the past to last a lifetime. It's not that I don't want to buy games, it's just that my free time is so erratic that I can't guarantee I'll play the game enough to warrant the hassle of going out and buying it, especially with my backlog of games.
