Founded in September 2003, Armchair Arcade is an award winning classic and modern videogame and computer Website that caters to gamers, electronic entertainment enthusiasts, and technophiles. Featured in media outlets throughout the world, Armchair Arcade has become a choice destination for top industry professionals. Our ongoing mission is to chronicle the complete history of videogames and computers. Matt, Bill, Mark, Chris, Christina, and Rob are happy to share their expertise with anyone. About: Mr. Daviau (a.k.a., MaximumRD) is a collector of classic gaming and computing hardware, software and accessories, and has been interested in videogames since before the Atari 2600, and computing long before the established platforms of Windows/OS X. A long-time contributor and participant of several classic gaming- and computing-related forums, July 29, 2008, saw the debut of Rob's first YouTube video and a channel that has grown to over 1300 members and counting. Rob's excitement about classic gaming shows through in his videos, which are casual, humorous, and fun. What began as a need to share a niche hobby has evolved into a fun, interesting and rewarding past time, meeting friends and allies along the way.
