Neat, Mark, I didn't realize you also ordered a Wiz. We're still waiting on the Pandora. I'm actually quite frustrated and would have bought a netbook by now, particularly since they have them with 10.5 hours of battery life now (my wife's gets about 9.5 hours). Hopefully we get it in a couple of months.
By the way, I have a multi-tool on my keychain too, along with a 16GB memory stick with my life on it:
The video is tough to hear, though, on my laptop's speakers! I'll have to listen in more detail with headphones.

You're right about the audio. It is as load as I could get it. Elise was filming and was sitting a bit further away than usual - this makes the audio inaudible and soft. I thought I could fix it but didn't succeed.
My videocam outputs in .MOV format which my Windows Movie Maker is able to digest but enhancing the audio is something that is very hard to do. I was trying to rip the audio from the .mov file and amplifying it digitally but I didn't succeed using the tools that were available on my pc.
I always could do a complete subtitle thing on it. But hey - it is an unboxing video and there are no re-takes on this kind of videos. ;-)
I went for a Wiz as I could get one very cheap from a webshop. For some reason I wanted to complete my own Gamepark / Gamepark Holding console collection that inspired users to create the Pandora.
But I would love to UNBOX the Pandora too. When we get ours we should do a joint unboxing review item ;-)
Both Elise and I own 13" widescreen notebooks that have Netbook functionality. My MacBook 13" sort of is my Netbook for now. It does have a nice battery life, but not as good as most of these real netbooks sporting 10 hours of battery life like the one Christina is using. Elise has a limited edition 13" Packard Bell notebook that comes with a separate optical drive that connects over USB and she has like 5 hours of battery life so hers actually is more of a netbook than my Apple.

I've struggled with audio since the beginning. It seems incredibly difficult to get good, crisp audio into the computer. If you turn up gain too much on the mics, you get so much distortion it's worse than just being quiet. I've also tried using programs like Sound Forge to amplify the volume, but again there's the distortion issue. If you could just get a clear, well-defined signal, then you could have more options. Seems better to normalize or reduce an overly loud recording than try to amplify a quiet one.
I even bought the Mobile Pre USB preamp/audio interface thing from M-AUDIO to try to combat the problem. Even with that and a professional mic, I'm still struggling. Last go round there was a lot of hiss in the mic that had to be taken out with Sound Forge's EQ, but of course that dampened the tones a lot. I guess there's a reason there are professional audio guys out there. :)
