Looks like a winner to me, with great battery life: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2345722,00.asp

Definitely a great option if you want a laptop that can fit in a neoprene sleeve!

My MacBook running Vista almost looks the same

Nice design, they've even got the same type of keyboard, the webcam on top of the screen. It reminds me very much of my MacBook which is a little more expensive than this machine - but my Mac can run the excellent Leopard next to XP or Vista.

ACER Notebook:

Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo P7350

Specs by Apple
Price of the 2.0 Ghz model as of 23rd of April 2009
2.0GHz,Intel Core 2 Duo,2GB DDR3 Memory,160GB hard drive,NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics,
Aluminum unibody, Free shipping: $1,299.00

But if you want to save 400-500 Euros/USD and don't want to be bothered by Apple software than by all means buy this machine. I've had good experiences with the Acer brand. With this machine you'll probably get a similar experience running Vista than I have on my MacBook.

Wow. I agree, Bill,

Wow. I agree, Bill, definitely has caught my attention--I am still without a laptop at this point. :-(
