Amazing what guys, maybe even younger than the machine itself are creating for it. Yeah!
that just rocks... not sure how you turn the sids to corresponding notes for the guitar....

I am not sure either, but all ripped sid tunes out there have the same structure. A little bit of player code and the music for three channels including the volume setting within a specific memory area. I am guessing his program loads in a real sid file on the c64 from disk and he either has some sort of algorithm figuring out a nice guitar note pattern to play or he has chosen a couple of songs and created a note sequence to go along with the sid.
Because he claims that it is possible to load in any sid - perhaps in the future - I figure he is in the process of creating some sort of algorithm.

I'm no "Guitar Hero" fan, but the guy's enthusiasm for the controller, and the C-64, is infectious. It makes me want to go on a SID downloading spree (not that I will!).
