Sorry for the slight Armchair Arcade "intermission"

As some of you may have noticed, Armchair Arcade was down for a few days due to one last holdover from prior ownership. It was always Matt and myself, but the other gentleman that we started AA with all those years ago had forgotten to keep the domain registry information current and we were essentially locked out of controlling our own domain name. Needless to say that was not a good situation, but, on the plus side, I should have full control of everything AA shortly, meaning as long as I'm still alive and kicking, AA will be safe...

Happy AA is back

Making something good should never lead to problems.
Funny to remember the inception of AA is not unlike this type of incident.
Glad that all has panned out for the best.

I certainly do like that I have more retro goodness than I did in the past.
Thanks to the creators and long live the site!

Back at the keyboard

Yay! Yes, that was a terrible situation, but I'm relieved that we finally have control of our own website!

BTW, I am sorry that I haven't been posting more on AA myself lately. I have until the end of the month to finish my book on CRPGs, so I've been working on that round the clock. I have to admit, though, it's going to be one hell of a book when I'm done. I've just about tripled my coverage of the games in the articles, and added countless others that weren't mentioned before. Combine that with all the interviews, gameplay, and extra research I've done--this will be THE book about CRPGS, hopefully for many years to come!

Was that self promotion? :-P

Hm. Maybe I can give away a few copies of the book in some kind of AA contest once it's available.

B has left the fold a long time ago

B has left the fold a long time ago, he was just too busy with real life stuff to keep contributing.

Is B leaving the fold or is

Is B leaving the fold or is it just an extended leave of absence?
