Can anyone recommend easy-to-use all-in-one DVD/video conversion software that at minimum targets conversion to Windows Mobile, PSP and MP4? Everything I've used is either restricted on DVD's or requires a secondary program to do everything I want. PC or MAC is fine. Thanks, guys!

I'll be back home late tonight, so I'll hopefully get to it either tonight or tomorrow. The biggest downside to my "Mac Life" is that it's the one system in my office at home and therefore is not mobile with me... The only system I really try to take everywhere is my Vista Tablet PC for obvious reasons. In fact, I'm typing on that now and connected to the Internet through my cell phone... (slowly)

Function over Speed

Bill, let me tell you. You'll love Handbrake. The intel machines are better at ripping dvd's though. The same Handbrake software operates slower on my 1.2Ghz G4 than on my 1.5Ghz Core Solo.

Yeah, I only have a 1.5Ghz G4 with 1GB and higher RPM hard drive. Speed is not a factor for me, though, as as long as it works, I'm far, far ahead of where I've been, which was non-working programs (many commercial programs I've bought are even purposely crippled in regards to DVD's!) and multiple programs to accomplish a simple end goal.

Woo hoo!

Thanks, Mark! If I have to use my Mac to watch movies on my portable devices, so be it. I'll check it out tonight if I can and report back in on Handbrake!

easy dvd conversion software

Handbrake on OSX is great, does rip DVD to all sorts of formats, including PSP!
The same Handbrake software exists for Windows but is not capable of Dvd riping itself. You need a tool like dvddecrypter to do that for you.
Dvdshrink is a all in one tool for windows but it is not updated anymore and it can stumble on some dvd's.
Another al in one is psp movie creator that is a one program solution for converting dvd's to psp.
