I will apparently need to take down the site, or lock the content posting when I update the site. I seem to have lost cpanel access so I am not able to make the SQL backup. So I am on hold until I can get back into cpanel. I have mailed Matt about it, since he did overall password changes I am guessing that it may have been changed by him.
In the meantime I will be doing some reading.

Hi, Cecil. Sorry about the delay. Check your email for the pw.
Matt
The Neo site will be down tomorrow in the afternoon in the GMT -6 time zone. I would suggest not posting anything that will be important much later than 1600GMT on Sunday until I get things updated. I am planning on editing the update script and then removing it.
I will have copies of the site and the SQL database stored on my local raid drive so we will have an off server backup for this update.

Thanks, Cecil! What exactly is a "local raid drive?" I've heard of it before, but not sure what it is.
Matt
The site software upgrade is now complete. I moved all the files I THINK we need onto the new directory, but I can't be sure until we poke around and test things out. All of the old files are still on the server in the neo-backup folder.
As for your question about my RAID setup it is a small 1/2 Terabyte storage system I have connected to my desktop for backups. I placed copies of both the old /neo directory and a backup of the unupdated SQL database there for safe keeping in case this goes to hell in a hand basket.
