its not too bad, but the 'current crop' is pretty light and really only covers 'old' stuff with no coverage of diablorl, or any new stuff, as if his research stopped 5 years ago... which is a shame.
np, the article is ok but really lacking in the 'current crop' area. no mention of zeldarl, diablorl, powder, ivan, etc
it pretty much glosses over the importance of hack and others (unreal world, alphaman, ragnarock)

the geaneology is intreesting (if the page will load for you)...
it has tidbits on there like the first roguelike to have wilderness, the first roguelike to do X etc...
