Checking In

Hello AA'ers!! I've been "away" for quite awhile now, however, I've been lurking in the background, checking in once in awhile.

I don't usually get on the computer much anymore, except to check emails. I got what looks like a computer-generated email from AA saying I hadn't been on in awhile, so, figured I'd check in to see what was going on.

I've been tracking alot of you on Xbox Live -- not stalking mind you, just seeing what other are playing. Xbox Live is very addictive, that's for sure!!

A couple of buddies and myself are online most nights playing "Chromehounds". I've played alot of games and this one has to rank up there as one of the best. However, I just started playing "Oblivion" and I may have to re-evaluate, or I could just say it too is one of the best games I've played. I'm only a level 6 Dark Elf, but got that far in about 6 gaming hours.

It looks like AA has gone through some changes and the site looks really good. Will be browsing again to check "stuff" out and hope to hear from you all soon.

Cheers/Frank

Xbox 360 Addictive

Darn, I want to give this game a try. I am in touch with the Bethesda people, but I'm not sure if they appreciate my request for a reviewer's copy. ;-) Probably saw me as "yet another one" out begging for freebies. Ah, must be nice to have a budget.

I think I'm finally coming off of my "Gametap fever." Come to think of it, I'd better check my subscription no that. They told me on the phone that if it expires, you lose everything instantly--with no warning. I'm sure if I had an Xbox 360, I'd be glued to XLA at least for a few weeks. It really looked awesome when I saw it over at Bill's.

Yes, the 360 is really, really addictive! I was going to get "Dirt" but my buddy talked me into getting "Oblivion". It was a better choice and although it isn't "Live" supported, my buddy and I discuss the game in "chat" mode while we're playing our individual versions! I guess that makes us kind of crazy, not sure. It really is fun though as we've been helping each other out with the missions.

XLA is also addictive and there are 3-4 of the games that I've downloaded full versions for that I enjoy...especially "Marble Blast Ultra" and "Smash TV". HD is an amazing thing!

Cheers

You just lose access, it doesn't delete anything. We have a pretty good relationship with GameTap and I'm sure I could get you another comp code, though I'm not sure how that would work with the stuff downloaded from your other account. You might want to find out about that - how if you change user names on a system is the content from a prior user name still accessible. I don't see why it wouldn't be since it is a subscription service.
