Some days you just have to wonder how lame life must have been before the internet. I can't get enough of this video! Check it out and please let us know what you think!
I've been doing some research on this group. Apparently, they're a Norwegian band named Datarock with quite a few tunes of interest to retrogamers and computer geeks of all stripes. Seems like a mix of DEVO and maybe...talking heads?
Here's a bit from their website about the song:
With the release of the "Computer Camp Love" EP later that year, Fredrick and Ket-Ill finally hit their stride. A stomping call-and-response, the track pays homage to Revenge of the Nerds, Grease's famous "Summer Nights," and the archetypal Commodore 64, all in the span of 180 seconds.*** It's this hyper jubilant, rapid fire reminiscing of 80's entertainment culture that would come to define Datarock's sound and vision.
I'd love to know more about this (i.e., the context). There doesn't even seem to be much info on YouTube.

Check out their homepage. Lots of links to stuff there, including some other good songs. I'd really like to have their album!
Cool!
Love the song and clip! It's very geeky.
Any other videos of this groep?
