Opcode Games is recalling all Magical Tree cartridge units manufactured due to a malfunction (herein termed bug) recently found in the game. The bug is causing the game to garble graphics and truncate messages which should be presented to the player during the “Game Over” screen. The bug doesn’t affect actual game play.

The manufacturer, Opcode Games, is providing factory authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this bug defect. Please contact Opcode Games regarding instructions about returning your faulty Magical Tree cartridge: eduardo@opcodegames.com.

Customers shall pay for shipping their defective cartridges to us, while Opcode Games will cover the costs of shipping the serviced cartridge back. Opcode Games apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice.

Good homebrew community

Agreed. It seems that the homebrew community is very willing to fix mistakes. AtariAge did something similar not too long ago.
