No problem, Dragon. I'll definitely be using it on my regular PC, hopefully soon, though like I said, there will be somewhat similar issues if not from a control standpoint from an LCD monitor standpoint.
Right now, I'm kind leaning towards thinking of GameTap as a plug and play emulator provider. You can't do much configuration, but the games will work and you're doing it legally. I'll have to think on that one a bit more...
In any case, GameTap has about 12 months left to impress me to see if I'll renew again.
As for the arcade cab, it's primary function was and always will be as a MAME machine. For that, it's sublime. Using anything else on it (save for something like Daphne) is "shoehorning".
