Elite best game of the 1980s

Well, next-gen has one of those silly "Best 50" lists on their website. Bill and I have become somewhat disillusioned with this sort of thing, since almost every such list either leaves out obvious winners or reveals a platform bias (i.e., most of the best are NES/SNES, etc.) However, what interests me about this one is that they put Elite in the #1 slot. :)

I wonder if they read this post? Doubtful, but I can dream.
