I just relized I havent revisted the original Diablo since I won it. I didnt play through with each character, just the rouge. I played through with each in Diablo II.. lost my copy and bought a new one and registerd it on battle.net and have since played my necro and Amazon through with plans to do the rest 'someday". I had forgot the charm of the small town, how it was all basicly one dungeon (here I was under the Impression FATE did that new. not copied as well as the rest of the gameplay of Diablo). Some comments.. Did Diablo make you click for each attack? isnt ti like the 2nd and 3rd where you can hold? wow.. if not.. Also.. stand by barrel, cant you hold Shift (or alt) to stand in place and attack at range (again like the 2nd and 3rd?) or is that also missing from Diablo? I know as a range character you HAVE to do that or pretty much die horribly alot :) Only 16 levels? I do remeber one thing about Diablo that stuck out in my mind "WAY TO SHORT!" so 16 level may be correct. I am tempted to fire it up, but am so addicted to 3 right now.. and I supsect some burn out by the time I finish.. But I am pretty sure your trip down memory lane will have me firing it up sometime.
other comments.. NANCY DREW does not deserve the prime head level location!!!!!! :) hehehe next we will see barbie Adventures up there! J/K i do hear they are actually pretty OK games.. but I still think the gold box sets, or even something modern deserves that space :)
