Oh No.. 2 of my favorites and Matt is dising them Skyrim, now EOB!!!! :) But EOB (today) I can agree with. I have tried to get into them again for old times sake and failed each time. For me the game still holds up, but the interface and lack of mapping kills it (for me). As a EOB fan I must say 1 and 2 are good, but 3 stretched into the "we have done everything, throw the kitchen sink in" problem. They started useing portals that in a 5 level dungon that could: be on level 4, lead to level 1 (spot you couldnt get to without portal) then it leads to level 3 (again a spot you couldnt get to without portals) which in turn leads to level2 and hten back to the rest of 4.. This in iteslef is no issue, but when there are several of these there is almost no way to map them in any realistic fashion untill you have them all mapped in chunks and start to put them togther like a puzzle. just tedouis work added to game to extend it.. have very little love for that type of stuff.. filler levels with no work ( just exp loot and killing is ok, but hard mapping, no thanks).
As Bill mentioned, if you are switching to the AMIGA sckip EOB and go straight to BLACK CRYPT, better game.. now days it may not look it, but when it came out it was simply amazing on the amiga.
